Why did you build this?

The response was always so positive that I was inspired to build this free tool to make the practice easy and accessible for everyone. We hope it helps you connect more deeply with the people you care about.

So much of our year can get lost in the endless scroll of social media and our camera rolls. Creating a Year in Review is a chance to pause, look back, and find the actual story of your year. It helps you appreciate the big milestones and the small moments of joy that are easy to forget. Ultimately, it's a powerful way to connect more deeply with the people you love and a gift to your future self.

Can I edit my review after I create it?

Yes! Your private edit link lets you change anything at any time. If you lose your link, you can have it resent by visiting myyear.review/resend-link.

What if I can't find my edit link?

No problem. You can have your private edit link resent to you at any time. Simply visit our Resend Link page, enter the email address you used to create the review, and we'll send it straight to your inbox.

How long does it take to create a review?

Most people create their review in just 10-15 minutes. Since most fields are optional, you can start simple and add more detail later. You can also share the private edit link with family or team members if you'd like to collaborate.

Is my data private?

Yes, your privacy is our priority. All data is encrypted both when it's transmitted and when it's stored on our secure servers. We will never share, sell, or analyze your personal data.

When you create your review, you get two links: a Public Share Link for viewing only (you control who sees it and can add a password for extra protection), and a Private Edit Link that's only for you. Keep your edit link safe, as anyone who has it can edit your review.

We collect your email address when you publish your review (so we can send you the edit link), along with the review content and photos you choose to share. Your data stays available until you choose to delete it, which you can do at any time.

Will my Year in Review show up on search results?

**No.** Your review will not appear in search results. Every page automatically includes a noindex tag, a command that tells search engines like Google to ignore the page. It will only be seen by people you share the link with.
